How to apply

This foundation reports that it accepts applications.

Applicants must submit a completed scholarship application in the form and manner prescribed by Achieving Learning Academy by the established application deadline. The application must include the applicants identifying and contact information educational information academic history educational and career goals and other information requested to evaluate eligibility. Applicants must also submit a letter of recommendation from an appropriate individual familiar with the applicants character academic performance leadership or community involvement and a written response to the scholarship essay question. All required materials must be received by the stated deadline for the application to be considered complete.

Restrictions: Scholarship awards are limited to eligible graduating high school students attending schools within the West Memphis and Marion Arkansas school districts who intend to pursue postsecondary education. Recipients must enroll in an accredited college university community college technical school vocational program or other qualifying postsecondary educational institution. Awards are made for educational purposes and are based upon the eligibility and selection criteria established by Achieving Learning Academy. No award will be made on the basis of a relationship to a substantial contributor foundation manager officer director scholarship selection committee member or other disqualified person.
