How to apply

This foundation reports that it accepts applications.

Horizon Foundation has shifted to an invite-only application process. If your organization received funding in the fall of 2023 or earlier you will be considered. Please visit the website for further information: https://www.horizonfoundation.org/how-to-apply

Deadlines: In October 2025 we will invite organizations to apply. Application deadline is November 3, 2025.

Restrictions: Horizon generally will make grants in the $5,000 to $20,000 range, with an average grant size of about $12,500. The Foundation does not fund or consider applications for: Annual, building, capital, or endowment fund drives; Colleges and universities; Emergency requests; Health/mental health programs; Individuals; International or foreign programs; Public and private schools; Religious projects; and/or State agencies. Additionally, past grantees must wait at least two years before reapplying.
