How to apply

This foundation reports that it only funds pre-selected organizations and does not accept unsolicited applications.

An informal letter of inquiry or a brief preliminary proposal will usually be sufficient to enable the Governors to determine whether the proposed research falls within the program area of the foundation. The following information should be included with the proposal: Aims of the project, methods and procedures to be used, personnel and resources available and/or needed (a brief budget), evidence of tax exempt status (including whether or not the organization is considered by the IRS to be a private foundation).

Deadlines: Proposals are accepted at any time.

Restrictions: Grants are limited to qualified organizations for specific projects in broad areas of interest: Hunger & Poverty in the US, Mental Health in the US, Education and Development and support of programs directed to the enhancement of human rights throughout the world.
